Everything about the DTC500 Series is user-friendly, including set-up and maintenance. Long-lasting, full color ribbons print up to 400 cards; monochrome up to 3,000 cards....far more than any other printer.
When it is time to finally change a ribbon, it's a snap thanks to easy drop-in loading and a retractable print head that automatically moves out of the way, protecting it from damage.

Whether you're printing and encoding cards in high volume for ID and access programs, or on-demand for loyalty and membership programs, the DTC500 Series works fast and reliably. This workhorse can print 133 color cards, or over 500 monochrome cards, per hour! It handles CR-80 cards from 10 mil to 50 mil thick. (10 and 50 mil cards are single-sided only)

For additional security, the DTC515 and DTC525 models come standard with a Printer Security Package that includes a Card Hopper Lock, SmartGuard printer security, and SmartShield card security technology.
