Basic Edition software provides the core set of
tools for creating card designs, report designs, production forms
and databases, entering and retrieving data, capturing images
and sending jobs to printers. Plus, when your needs change, you
can upgrade to more advanced ID Works packages quickly, easily
and affordably.
Robust
Features and Customization Capabilities
ID Works Basic Edition software lets you create
card and report designs, enter and retrieve data from Microsoft
Access databases, and encode magnetic stripes and bar codes. The
software also gives you flexibility to create your own layout,
field labels, color and graphics within production forms.
Integrates with a Range of
Printers and Image Capture Devices
We enhanced Basic Edition software to leverage the
advanced features of the Datacard SP35 and Datacard Select and
Magna Series card printers. Basic Edition software also works
with other card and paper printers for customers that do not require
all the functionality and advanced features of these Datacard
models. The software is also compatible with selected Datacard
integrated capture devices, and any TWAIN-or Video for Windows-compatible
image capture device.
